Upload your in-store book inventory to the following online markets:
Post all of your inventory online, if you wish, or you can be more selective. Create a market SKU when you are adding items to inventory, if the online price is attractive. If a book comes through the door that is selling for $100 then create the market SKU immediately and have it available for uploading to the various markets. Basil checks your entire inventory daily to compare your store price to the online price and will show you the list of books that are paying more online. This is a great way to begin to sell online, by choosing to upload the winners from the beginning. Basil allows for a different price on each market and that price can be different than the price of the item in the store.
Basil automatically uploads your inventory every 90 minutes through out the day. Any additions or sales are automatically uploaded and added or removed from the market place. This ensures that sales in the store are quickly reflected on each market place reducing the number of refunds on each market. We can upload inventory to Amazon, Abe, Alibris, Biblio and Chrislands. If you are looking for your own e-commerce site we suggest using the Chrislands.com service. It is inexpensive and very stable.
Basil automatically downloads orders from the online markets to make processing those shipments more efficient. We currently support the Amazon market place but will be adding Abe, Alibris, Biblio and Chrislands in the near future. Create pick lists, packing slips and postage for the orders that are downloaded. We integrate with Dazzle to print the postage and ship the product out the door. Cancel orders from Basil. There is no need to check each market, just take a look at the automated orders screen and you'll know what you need to ship.
Create market orders for items sold online to keep your in-store inventory in sync with the online listings. All items sold throughout the day are automatically removed from the appropriate markets to reduce refunds and out-of-stock orders. Get the best of both worlds, sell online and in the store without the worry of poor ratings and missed sales.
